In the morning of April 25, The state office of protecting Intellectual property right had held. The seventh session about regular communicating and coordinating mechanism with foreign investment enterprises in Nanjing,. The theme of the session was "protecting intellectual property right, improvement on investment environment".
The Representatives of the Ministry of Public Security , Ministry of Culture , high court had participated in this session, the Directors of the working group office of protecting the intellectual property right of provinces Jiangsu , Fujian , Zhejiang , Shanghai, etc.. The leaders of Chinese foreign-investment enterprise association, the representatives of The high-quality brand protection committee of Chinese foreign-investment enterprise association, the Info. Property organization of United States, The business software Alliance, Japan trade development organization and some foreign-investment enterprises also took part in this session.
This session had invited the people, who are in charge of intellectual property right working to participate in for the first time. Jiangsu , Fujian , Zhejiang , Shanghai have introduced the main methods of protecting the intellectual property right and improving the investment environment; Ministry of Culture notified China's audio-video intellectual property protection situation; Ministry of Public Security introduced the progress of "the mountain hawk action" for attacking crime and infringing the exclusive right to trademark, the high court had introduced "selling the pirate CD case in Guran"; the Representatives the foreign investments enterprise, who participated in the session expressed their high appreciation to the Chinese Government's decisions and measures for protecting the intellectual property right, meanwhile, they put forward their opinions and suggestions which they were interested in. The state office of protecting Intellectual property right had summarized the session and circulated the working of protecting the intellectual property right of our country in the near future, especially introduced the progress of the Special action to protect the intellectual property right and activity of "Promotion Week of protection intellectual property right protection" in 2005.
